Among the largest integrated poultry farm in Oman, specializing in broiler poultry production to meet consumers’ needs of high quality white meat, chicks and animal feeds. Shurooq feed mill (SFM) produces 200 tons of various feeds per day (Poultry, Cattle, Camels, Sheep, and Goats). Its operation is set as per the European standards with the raw materials and premixes are imported from the western countries, to ensure high quality and healthy feeds.
SFM have proved itself to function as an essential part of an integrated poultry farm, beside broiler chicks producing hatchery, broiler houses as well as slaughter house. Also, we are striving to develop leadership in the feed production for poultry as well as feed production for large animals. This is achieved by introducing the latest technology of feed production in the country .This will contribute and support the national economy and food security, and will strengthen the community by providing the employment opportunities. Hence, achieving the overall goal of reducing the gap of client´s demand and supply the regional markets.
SFM is considered the best feed available in the regional market because it has the advantage of being of high quality organic feed, supplying pellet, crumble or mash feed to our farms and clients. This is achieved by implementing a high quality control system and a very strict biosecurity measures, which will be ultimately transported by a standardized transportation feed truck (Silo) that are well decontaminated.
It consists of natural organic materials which were selected carefully from the best organic materials from North or South America, Europe or Russia. Materials are selected based on each breed age requirements. These consists of : corn, soya bean, wheat, premix, vitamins, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, vegetable oil, anti- toxins, NaCl and natural additives.
These materials are mixed using advanced and latest technology in the automatic feed mill using special software.
